How do you trade players in fantasy baseball? ›

Available scoring types

Head-to-Head Categories, Points or One Win - Weekly matchups against other managers for the best weekly stats. Head-to-head Categories is the default in Fantasy Baseball and Head-to-head Points is the default in Fantasy Football, Basketball and Hockey.

H2H Categories

In head-to-head leagues, teams try to outdo each other in a mix of hitting and pitching categories each week. For example, say Team A and Team B are facing each other in the first week of the season. If Team A tallies 25 stolen bases that week and Team B records 20, Team A wins the category.

Trades. Teams may trade only players currently under contract. Trades between two or more major-league teams may freely occur at any time during a window that opens two days after the starting date of the final game of the most recent World Series and closes at 4 pm Eastern Daylight Time (UTC 2000) on July 31.

If you have a player in your lineup that has been traded to a new team that is not included in that contest, you will receive zero points for that player. However, you can always edit your lineup before the official start of the contest and replace traded players.

How many players to draft at each position is up to you, but the traditional combination of players to draft: two quarterbacks, four running backs, four wide receivers, two tight ends, two kickers, and two defense/special teams (punt and kickoff return) units.
