Last week, we teamed up with Prime Therapeutics for their Week of Service to make a difference in our community! Volunteers lent a hand at locations in Bloomington and Richfield, stocking the store with clothes, shoes, and home goods, and packing much-needed menstrual kits and snack packs onsite at their office. Additionally, they took part in a 200-person individual group project in a box, resulting in 400 blankets being made across the country, with each volunteer selecting a nonprofit partner for their blankets. The menstrual kits were distributed to women served by Women's Advocates, Inc., an organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence through advocacy and radical hospitality. Appetite For Change, a nonprofit using food as a tool to build health, wealth, and social change in North Minneapolis, received the snack packs. Thank you to Prime Therapeutics for supporting these incredible organizations and helping to create positive change in our community!
